The Diary of an Unprotected Black Girl is not a diary in the traditional sense — it is a documented journey of transformation.
Written from the place where survival collided with truth, this book offers an intimate account of what it means to:
• Grow up emotionally, spiritually, or relationally unprotected
• Learn to survive through striving, responsibility, and over-functioning
• Confront the hidden wounds beneath achievement and strength
• Discover healing through identity, intimacy, and truth in Christ
Through personal reflections, spiritual insight, and lived experience, Tandra Freeman invites readers into the private wrestlings, revelations, and turning points that shaped her healing.
What began as a diary — honest, unfiltered, and deeply personal — became a framework.
As the narrative unfolds, readers are gently guided through the same healing process that moved the author from survival into wholeness, alignment, and rest.
Each principle within the framework was first lived before it was ever taught.
This book speaks to:
• Women still surviving and searching for language for what they carry
• High-achieving women who appear successful outwardly yet remain inwardly disconnected
• Women of faith learning the difference between performance and intimacy with God
• Readers longing for healing that honors both truth and tenderness
This work challenges the belief that suffering must continue in order to become valuable and confronts the illusion that achievement alone can establish identity.
Paired with companion workbooks, this project extends beyond testimony into invitation — creating space for readers to process their own experiences, confront unhealed places, and begin restoration at a pace that honors personal readiness.

The H.E.A.R.T. Companion Workbook Collection is a guided two-volume healing journey designed to help women process their story with honesty, emotional safety, spiritual reflection, and identity restoration through every stage of life.
More than a traditional workbook or journal, this collection gently helps women explore how childhood experiences, survival patterns, emotional wounds, relationships, beliefs, and life transitions shaped the way they see themselves, others, and God.
Through guided reflections, emotional processing exercises, grounding practices, Scripture, declarations, and the H.E.A.R.T. Framework™, women are invited to heal without retraumatization while moving at a pace that honors emotional safety, readiness, and truth.
This collection helps women:
• Identify survival-based emotional patterns
• Process unresolved experiences with honesty and compassion
• Build emotional awareness and self-trust
• Release false beliefs rooted in shame, fear, comparison, and performance
• Develop healthier emotional and spiritual patterns
• Move from survival into identity, peace, wisdom, and wholeness
VOLUME I
Foundations, Identity Formation & Early Healing
Volume I focuses on the formative years of life — the seasons where identity, emotional safety, attachment, shame, survival patterns, and self-perception first began developing.
This volume gently guides women through childhood, adolescence, and early identity formation while helping them acknowledge what was carried, hidden, minimized, misunderstood, or emotionally survived throughout their earlier years.
VOLUME II
The Becoming Years — Identity, Intimacy, Wisdom & Legacy
Beginning with:
“The Becoming Without Identity”
(Ages 20–25)
Volume II follows the emotional and spiritual journey through adulthood, surrender, intimacy with God, emotional maturity, relationships, purpose, peace, wisdom, and legacy formation.
As the years progress, the reflections gently shift from:
• performance into identity
• survival into surrender
• striving into intimacy
• pressure into wisdom
• healing into legacy
The later stages of this volume focus less on emotional excavation and more on identity embodiment, relational wisdom, purpose, peace, and the legacy healing produces across generations.
This is not a quick workbook.
It is a guided healing companion intentionally designed to be processed slowly, honestly, prayerfully, and gently.
What you are holding is not simply theory.
It is a lived process first walked by the author before being offered to others.

The Companion Workbook Collection - Coming Soon
The Companion Workbook Collection serves as the reflective foundation for women entering Tier 1: The H.E.A.R.T. Foundation, providing the space for acknowledgment, excavation, and integration.
It is also available for women who desire intentional self-led healing work outside of coaching.

Some women read the book and feel seen.
Some work through the Companion Workbook and find release.
Some discern that deeper support feels aligned.
All outcomes are valid.
If and when a woman chooses to continue, the Aligned Woman Season Assessment offers clarity — not pressure — and introduces the H.E.A.R.T. Pathway as an option, not an obligation.
You do not need to minimize what happened to move forward.
You do not need to perform healing to be worthy of rest.
And you do not need to rush intimacy before trust is established.
Healing begins when truth is honored —
and continues when it is integrated with care.
You are invited to begin where you are.
